Yup Pezzini Farms! Yum.

Pick chokes that have a nice fresh looking stem and are heavy.

You'll find you might not even need the mayo and butter!

On this early 6:30am Wednesday, first reading of the season, you've inspired me to share Guin's favorite artichoke recipe.

Trim the spikes.
Stuff garlic cloves between the leaves.
Pour olive oil over the whole flower.
Set upright.
Steam in a water bath until done.

No other dips necessary.
Any left over artichokes are good chilled and easy take out food.
